AIWC Recruitment: Advanced Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC) is one of its kind research institutions set up by the forest department of Tamil Nadu primarily to provide scientific solutions to conservation problems. The Institute conducts multidisciplinary wildlife research, capacity building in wildlife conservation, training programs and advisories in wildlife research by partnering with leading research institutions in India. During 2018-19, AIWC
initiated the internship programmes open for students to cater the academic needs of graduate students across the state, which has been found to be highly effective. In order to attract more kstudents to work in the field of wildlife conservation.
Positions: Junior Research Fellow
- Morphometry lab: M.V.Sc. in Anatomy or M.Sc. in Wildlife Biology or Zoology. Forensic DNA Lab: M.Sc./MTech in Biotechnology or Molecular Biology & Genetics or Genetic engineering
- Masters’ Degree in above disciplines corresponding to the respective laboratories mentioned, with a minimum 60% aggregate marks and above from a recognized university.
Age Limit: 28 years
- Junior Research Fellow – 03 Posts
- Junior Research Fellow – Rs.25,000/-
