Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute
- Must have at least passed at least +2 examination conducted by the Council constituted under Sec. 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act 1982 or equivalent examination of a recognized Council, Board or University, as the case may be
- For the post of Junior Typist, the candidate shall possess a minimum speed of 40 words in type writing per minutes.
- For the post of Stenographer Grade III, the candidate shall possess a minimum speed of 80 words in shorthand and 40 words in type writing per minute
- Must be able to speak read and write Odia and have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E standard
Age Limit(as on 27.08.2021): 18 to 32 years
Post-Wise Vacancies:
- For Jr.Clerk-cum-Copyist: 23 posts
- For Jr.Typist: 08 posts
- For Stenographer Grade III: 06 posts
Pay Scale:
- For Jr.Clerk-cum-Copyist: Level 4 Rs.19,900 – 63,200/-month
- For Jr.Typist: Level 7 Rs.25,500 – 81,100/-month
- For Stenographer Grade III: Level 4 Rs.19,000 – 63,200/-month
Selection process:
- The selection is based on the written competitive examination followed by computer test and Viva-Voce examination. The examination pattern, marks and durations are given below
Examination for Jr.Clerk & Copyist:
Part-I
- English: 100 marks (2hrs)
- Arithmetic: 100 marks (1 Hrs)
- General Knowledge: 100 marks (1 Hrs)
Part-II
- Computer Science (Practical): 100 marks
- Viva Voce: 45 marks
Note: Only successful candidates in the written examination shall be called for Computer Science Practical test and the candidates selected in the computer Science Practical test shall be called for Viva Voce Test.
For Junior Typist and Stenographer Grade-III:
Part-I
- English (Written, Qualifying in nature): 100 marks (2 Hrs)
- Type Test for Typist: 50 marks (10 min)
- Shorthand & Type Test for Stenographer: 50 marks (15 min)
Part-II
- Computer Science (Practical): 100 marks
- Viva Voce: 35 marks
- Application fee: Rs.100/-
Note: The SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fees
