Trainee Engineer I : (ECE & Mechanical)
- B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc Engineering (4 years regular degree with 55% marks for GEN/OBC/EWS Category and pass class for SC/ST/PwBD) in the relevant discipline.
- Min. 1year relevant industrial work experience (Full time)
Project Engineer I : (ECE, Computer Science)
- B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc Engineering (4 years regular degree with 55% marks for GEN/OBC/EWS Category and pass class for SC/ST/PwBD) in the relevant discipline.
- 2 years relevant industrial work experience (Full time)
Upper Age limit (as on 09.03.2022) :
- Trainee Engineer I : 28 years
- Project Engineer I : 32 years

BEL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- The selection process for the post of will be based on the following weightage :
| Selection Criteria | Weightage |
| Percentage of marks obtained in BE, B.Tech, B.Sc Engineering – CGPA* score will be converted to percentage of marks % conversion formula shall be attached for respective University. | 75% or 75 Marks |
| Work Experience – Candidates meeting basic eligibility criteria of relevant work experience will be awarded 2.5 Marks. For every completed 6 months of additional relevant work experience, 1.25 marks will be awarded. The maximum marks in this criterion are limited to 10 marks. | 10 Marks |
