Cantonment Board Recruitment: It is a civic administration body in India under control of the Ministry of Defence. A cantonment board consists of eight elected members, three nominated military members, three ex-officio members and one representative of the district magistrate. It comprises of elected members besides ex-officio and nominated members. The board takes care of mandatory duties such as the provision of public health, water supply, sanitation, primary education, and street lighting etc.

- Passed Degree in B.E/ B.Tech (Civil) or equivalent from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act, or Recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Asst. Engineer:
- Passed Degree in B.E/ B.Tech (Civil) or equivalent from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act, or Recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Age Limit:
- Asst. Cantonment Planner – GEN: 18-25 years, OBC: 18-28 years
- Asst. Engineer – GEN: 18-25 years, OBC: 18-30 years

- For Other Backward Class – up to 3 Years

Cantonment board recruitment 2021 selection process:
- The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts will be made by Multiple choice objective type computer based examination. The questions for examination will be set only in English. There will be no interview for any of the above mentioned posts. Date, Time & Venue for Online test will be intimated on website.
- PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: Candidates should note that for each wrong answer, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. A separate examination will be conducted for the posts of Assistant Cantonment Planner and Assistant Engineer (Civil).
