Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOC) was set up by the Government of India in 1960 with the objective of attaining self-reliance in basic organic chemical’s needs. In fact this was the first endeavor to indigenize manufacture of basic chemicals and to reduce country’s dependence on import of vital organic chemicals. HOC, started as small chemical unit, and expanded to a multiunit company with two units at Rasayani and Kochi and one subsidiary unit. The Rasayani unit was closed in the year 2018 due to nonviability of its old plants.

Educational Qualification:
- The candidates should have obtained minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination. In case of non-availability of candidates as stipulated above, candidates with minimum 50% of marks obtained in the qualifying examination will also be considered. In the case of SC/ST Candidates the requirement of 1st Class | 60% Marks in the qualifying examination is relaxed to 2nd Class | 50% Marks.

HOCL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
- Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification. The short listed candidates will be called for verification of original certificates/documents followed with Interview. Candidates short-listed for the certificate verification should bring the original certificates towards the proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any) etc and self attested copies of all these certificates and their candidature shall be considered on the strength of the original certificates
