Educational Qualification:
- Matric Pass or its equivalent with valid Driving License for Light/Heavy vehicles in hilly areas.
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the State.
Age Limit (As on 01-04-2021): 18 to 45 years
Relaxations in upper age limit:
- 5 years for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes & other backward classes of H.P.
- Others as per government policy

| Written Test /examination | Total Marks: 100((A+B) : – Marks obtained to be written examination to be awarded on prorate basis. A.MCQ covering the syllabus of Driving, maintenance skill of vehicle and Motor Act. etc. with matriculation standard as per R&P Regulation notified by the HPSEBL for 80 marks. B.GK of Himachal Pradesh (Matric Standard) for 20 marks. |
