IISR Recruitment: The Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR), Kozhikode (Calicut) a constituent body of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is a major Institute devoted to research on spices. In 1976, it started as a Regional Station of the Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI), Kasaragod engaged in research on spices.

Educational qualification:
Research Associate:
- Essential qualification
- The candidate should have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences.
- The candidate should have two years research experience in research/ teaching
- The candidate should have published at least one paper in NAAS 7.0 rated journal
- Desirable qualification
- The candidates should have Experience in molecular markers, diversity and genetic fidelity analysis, PCR, virus indexing, ELISA, etc.
- Candidates having working experience in DBT-ATL will be preferred.
Senior Project associate:
- Essential qualification
- The candidate must have completed Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences OR
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University with Four year’s experience in research and development in Industrial/Academic! Research Institutions OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science/Engineering/Technology from a recognized University
- Desirable qualification
- The candidates should have Experience in molecular diversity analysis, genetic fidelity testing, PCR, ELISA, etc.
- Candidates having working experience in DBT-ATL will be preferred.
Scientific Assistant:
- The candidate must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Candidates with Working experience in MS Office will be preferred
Age Limit :
- The Age limit for these positions is 45 with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per ICAR/DBT/GOI rules.
