Educational Qualification:

For Trade Apprentice:

• 10th pass with 02 years ITI in relevant trade

Designated Trade:

• Electrician
• Plumber
• Fitter
• Secretariat Assistant
• Carpenter

Period of Apprenticeship: 12 Months

Age Limit :

• For Trade Apprentice: minimum of 18 to 30 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

• 05 years for SC/ST
• 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)

• Electrician – 10 Posts
• Plumber – 02 Posts
• Fitter – 02 Posts
• Secretariat Assistant – 04 Posts
• Carpenter – 01 Post

NHPC Recruitment Selection Process :

• The selection of Apprentices shall be based on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of marks secured in ITI. Result awaited candidates need not to apply.
• Medical fitness:-The candidate will have to submit medical fitness certificate by the Competent Authority(Govt.
  Establishment) at the time of joining.
