The National Pension System is a voluntary defined contribution pension system in India. National Pension System, like PPF and EPF is an EEE instrument in India where the entire corpus escapes tax at maturity and entire pension withdrawal amount is tax-free. The contributory pension system was notified by the Government of India on 22 December 2003, now named the National Pension System (NPS) with effect from 1 January 2004. The NPS was subsequently extended to all citizens of the country with effect from 1 May 2009, including self-employed professionals and others in the unorganized sector on a voluntary basis.

Educational Qualification:

Grade-B

Media, Marketing & Subscriber education

  • Full time Post Graduate degree / Master’s Degree in Business Administration (minimum 2 years or equivalent to MBA) with specialization in Marketing / Digital marketing / Public Relations / Mass Communication / Visual communication from a recognized Indian University/Institute
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Investment & Research

  • Full time Master’s degree in Business administration or equivalent with specialization in Finance / Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Grade A

Media, Marketing & Subscriber education

  • Full time Post Graduate degree / Master’s Degree in Business Administration (minimum 2 years or equivalent to MBA) with specialization in Marketing / Digital Marketing / Public Relations / Mass Communication / Visual communication from a recognized Indian University/Institute
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Rajbhasha

  • Full time Master’s Degree in Hindi or Sanskrit, with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized Indian University / Institute
    Experience in translation from English to Hindi and vice versa is desirable

Investment & Research

  • Full time Master’s degree in Business administration or equivalent with specialization in Finance / Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

IT

  • Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electrical/ electronics
    and communication / information technology/ computer science) / Masters in Computer Application/ Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in computers/ information technology from a recognized Indian University / Institute.
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Legal

  • Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University/ College/ recognized by UGC and the Bar Council of India.
  • Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant field

Age Limit:

  • For General – 30 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

  • For OBC – up to 3 years
  • For SC/ST/Ex-servicemen – up to 5 years
  • For PWD – up to 10 years
