Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited- NLC is a Navaratna Government of India Enterprise. It is founded in 1956 and it was inaugurated by the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is the fossil fuel mining sector in India and thermal power generation. It manually produces about 30 million tonne lignite from opencast mines at Neyveli. This lignite is used in the pithead thermal power station to produce electricity.

Educational Qualification:

Should have passed SSLC or X Std or its equivalent (or) ITI in Mechanical / Electrical Trade. Should have working experience of minimum 05 years in operating Specialized Mining Equipment of Mines / Thermal stations.

Age Limit: 63 years

NLC Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on Practical Test. However, the management reserves the right to conduct Screening Test for short listing the candidates.
• Intimation / Communication regarding list of candidates Shortlisted, exact Date & Venue of the Practical Test will be hosted in NLCIL website.
• Candidates shall be evaluated for 50 marks by testing the Practical knowledge / Skill through Practical Test. The minimum qualifying marks for various categories against reservation is tabulated below;
